Key West Diving Certifications

We know that you’re dying to strap on a tank and explore the waters around Key West, and the first step to get you diving is to get certified. Certification classes at Key West Dive Center are a great way to get the hands-on instruction and diving gear knowledge you need in order to be a competent diver, and taking those first few dives in the safety of a group with an instructor present will boost your confidence in your deeper depth diving skills.

We offer several different course packages for students at all different skill levels, with each package designed to get you into the water as quickly as possible. Whether you’re a total beginner or just need a quick refresher class, you’ll find the perfect level of direction from our friendly, experienced instructors. The certification you earn at Key West Dive Center will open up waters all over the world to you, and we guarantee that if you’re new to scuba, you’re about to fall in love with a new adventure.

Many of our packages begin with some short classroom work, where we’ll answer all of your questions about diving and about the living reefs around Key West. Next, you’ll experience different water instruction scenarios, beginning in a pool and, in some instances, progressing to open water, wreck and reef diving. We take special care not to overbook our classes so that each student receives personalized attention and guidance from instructors.
